This year, the most rated chess player will be Russian Goryachkina (2534 points). The European championship will be the 20th anniversary in history. In late March, the Macedonian Skopje hosted the European championship among men, the winner of which was Russian Vladislav Artemyev. The women’s tournament will be held from April 10 to April 23. The prize Fund will be €60 000, of which the winner will receive €10 000. Fourteen best chess players of the tournament will receive a direct ticket to the World Cup.
