This year, a record was broken in foreign student applications to Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU), which is among the first choices in Turkey and abroad.

ALKÜ, which made a difference throughout the district with its recent studies and attracted attention with the ALKÜDERM cosmetic brand that the academic staff brought to Alanya, took its place among the universities most preferred by foreign students. Last year, 944 foreign students applied to ALKU, and this year 6,367 applications from 92 countries were made. Wanting to increase the number of foreign students when he took office, ALKU Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Kalan noted that there are applications above the determined target.

Stating that the brand value of Alanya is an important factor in the preference of ALKU, ALKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Kalan said, “This year there has been a significant density in foreign student applications. We carried out serious promotional activities for both students in our country and foreign students. Of course, we have started to reap the fruits of our work. Especially this year, the promotional fairs held in digital environments due to the pandemic have provided an added value for us. Participating in the Study in Turkey YÖK Virtual Fair, organized with the participation of 142 countries with the instructions of our YÖK President, was also an important factor in achieving this success.
This year, 6,367 students from 92 countries, from Ethiopia to Ghana, Tunisia to Belgium, China to Srilanka, Canada to Poland and Romania, applied to ALKU.
