DİRECTOR of Saklikent Ski Resort Juma Ozaydyn said that it was the longest season in the last 22 years, due to weather conditions and heavy snow, season was extended to 4.5 months and was closed on April 24.“We have created the perfect ski slopes for skiing enthusiasts, as this year a lot of snow fell”, – the Director of the resort Saklikent Juma Ozaydin said.In Saklykent there are two routes of average level of complexity with a total length of about 6 km. There are two lifts with a total capacity of about 1200 people per hour. Tracks lie at altitudes from 2000 to 2400 meters, and therefore the thickness of the snow cover can reach up to 1 meter “We were happy to organize the longest season in 22 years. The last such season was from December 1997 to April 1998. We were happy to receive guests in our resort until closing day. Also, I would like to add that regardless of whether the slopes are open or closed for skiing, Saklikent continues its life in the summer season. A lot of people want to visit Saklikent in summer, as at a temperature of 40 degrees in Antalya, Saklikent meets visitors with mountain coolness. Our resort is open year-round”, – Juma Ozaydin said.
